Dr. A.R. Bernard's like one of the MOST MOST amazing guy on planet earth man!
really really.. today's sermon was mind-blowing, exhilerating, beyond words!
okie! anyway! i'm gonna write wat i wrote down during the service! might not be exactly wat dr bernard said but that's wat i received!
okie, without further ado!!!!!

happiness is a way of mind and a way of life
Lk 11:52 -> knowledge is the key!
you are limited in life to the knowledge in yer mind and the content of yer character
everything moves from general to specific, and thats where coopertaion starts
the more specific you are, the more empowered they are
the order of creation is a general revelation
the church is the agent to reveal God to the world, what God is like, the church should know! so if the church didnt know, they will leave to their creative mind to come up with something.
Jesus must be re-presented to the world!
yer vision always determine the method, if method determined the vision, then it'll become a ritual
prophetic models : 1.antagonistic 2.Joseph and Daniel
2. they dont go against he society, but change the soceity thru them
Joseph became the provision of the people of God cuz he had the prophetic voice
Jer29:11
we face the world with apprehension because we're in fear, but we face our future with anticipation cuz we're living by faith!
the bible says that the holy spirit has been poured on ALL FLESH including the non believers
but we're too caught up in looking at what the devil has done in their life than to look at what God has done for them
relationship preceeds ministry
the element in relationship that needs to be there is trust
matt 13:22 -> "..world.." -> Gk. aion -> a peiod of time in human history marked by distinctive characteristic and achievement
matt 13:39, 24:14 -> "..world.." -> Gk. Oikumene -> age land and territory
mark 16:15 -> "..world.." -> Gk kosmos -> the cocial order and arrangement of politics, education, family, arts, entertainment and religion
when the bible says love not the world, it means kosmos
we should not be with the culture, but the solution to the problems in culture!
you cannot lead the people you fear, if it is, you'll be afraid to give them the truth
matt 12:28 the future is brought into the present to empower us!
Lk 10:7-9 as an agent of God i can bring wats in the future into the present
the more u learn the relevance of Jesus in His time, the more you'll have the power in the present, the more knowledge, the more authority in life
being ignorant is being weak and the only reason for ignorance is stubbornness, and stubbornness is refusing to be taught!
symbiosis -> the living together in close association of two dis-similar entities
being a christian, our freedom comes from submission and not the absence of submission!
when we know the character of God personally, it can teach us the things that the word does not say -> about making descisions the bible didnt talk about

thats the end of wat i got from service one!
side track a little!
i went to eat dinner at New Yorks Pizza! its super good la! the pizza is like HUMONGOUS! and the meal which cost like only 6 plus, comes with a chic wing and one can of pepsi!
AND another amazing thing is the chicken wing!
it looks crispy on the inside and tender on the inside! and in fact it is!
i ordered the spicy one, innocently thinking that it'll be like the pizzahut chic wings! but to my surprise i got this huge chic wing, those u BBQ!
ah.. its succulent tender flesh can almost melt into yer mouth. the first bite is like a heaven on earth. when all the essence of the chicken wing just oozes into your mouth, oh my! *HOW IN THE WORLD WILL I FIND SUCHA GOOD CHICKEN WING*(only at new york's pizza, come grab it now, while stock last!! *winks*) anyway, u'll feel a slight hint of chilli, which is great! by the time u land your teeth for the second bite, oh my.. the chilli starts to manifest itself *muahahaha* and you can almost see the chicken devil using a knife the cut yer tongue!!!! its SOSOSOSOSOSO SPICY!!! i never in my entire human being life experience this burning hot sensation! haha.. sounds wrong but anyway! ITS HOT MAN!! its a hot chic! literally!!!!! and you can totally feel yer lips exploding, its then followed by the pouring perspiration. then every other bite is like a torture! but its a good chicken nonetheless if u can take on the challenge! i sure cant.. i've learnt my lesson on taking the none spicy chicken at new york's cafe.
anyway, then there was this malay guy who ordered the chic as well.. so me and my dad decided to stay behind and watch his reaction, and it was priceless! totally worth the stay!!! his eyes all buldging, tongue hanging out! we did tried our best not to laugh in front of him.. but we soon left and burst into tears outside the cafe. people must have thought we're crazy or wat! haha. but it was fun!
and i got new specs!
okie back to service 3! i missed service 2!

mid life crisis is smth common to every culture and to every couple that have been tog for sometime, its a period of emotional turmoil in middle age characterise by a specially stong desire to change
God does things based on a pattern and priciples
relationship is the network for life
everytime you go to the next level, thats cuz someone told you how to
relating is an art
you'll never grow beyond the group of people you hang out with
relationship is always based on quality and never on quantity
you'll never grow unless you're willing to let go of the past
all relationships are based on this pattern
introduction
acquaintance
friendship
intimacy (both parties are vulnerable to each other and usually have a covenant)
when you move from introduction to friendship or intimacy, you wont know who yer exposing yer vulnerable side to
whatever you sin against in life, you'll bring death to it
distance increases with time, therefore do not hesitate to seek forgiveness!
in a relationship, distance is never measured with miles, but distance in relationship is measured by affection
knowledge is power, knowledge translate into authority
we often go into things without getting information, therefore no power and authority over situations
we have the respondsibility of being intelligent by getting information, your mind then turns that information into beliefs, your beliefs communicates with yer self-esteem, which converts into action, actions you take create results, in the long run becomes habit THAT WILL IN TURN LEAD TO SUCCESS OR FAILURE!
new information -> beliefs -> self esteem -> actions -> create results -> habit -> success or failure!
therefore your success in life depends on the information you have!
rom 12:2 -> the renewal of yer mind means changing the way you think, how? by taking in new information!
new information changes the way your mind thinks
whenever you make a descision, it is based on the information you have and how you were thinking at that time
you can have the best information but a negative mind, therefore you not only need new information but also the to change the way you think
God breathed the breath of life into Adam, which pass on to him the information that he needed to have dominion over everything! he's fearless cuz of his mindset which in turn causes him to have authority!
science wasnt an issue cuz the authority gave him the respect (big animals, small man, man easily crushed)
when someone asks a question, he either wanna get information or stimulate a thought
when God asks question, He's definitely not trying to get information! *everybody goes hahahahahahaha*
when Adam hid himself away from God after eating the fruit, God asked him "who told you?" He didnt questioned wat any other thing but the information he received!
your input determines your output! bad information input = bad output
the get a new output, God send His word!
to pass on new information, God needs a body to pass it on, then sows the body into the world! ie you and me! see the parable of the sowers(the first parable is bout sowing the seed into the different kinda ground, the second parable is about sowing flesh into the world, Dr A.R bernard did not give any reference, i cant find either! haha, update when i find it)
the information only has its power and show its true value only when it is put into flesh
(okie, i'll try to explain this part where i cant find anyone who could write it down in words.. really! everyone was just in awe and receiving the word given, and its hard to put in words! haha..)
when God sows a truth into the world, the devil tries to imitate and puts a false information just beside the truth, so much so that u wont be able to tell the difference UNTIL it manifests itself. but there's a way to tell, when you pull out both of the "plants" from the ground, you'll find the roots of the false information entangles itself around the truth and living off thru the truth, disguising itself!
one day the angels ask God if He would like them to destroy and to pull out the "bad plant" from the truth, God says leave it there cuz greater thats in ME than that of the world! and God's confident about the victory so He's not afraid to leave it there!
the most damnable heresy is always the closest to the truth!
