hear this song?! its from the OST of the show "ONCE"! and i'm downloading(legally) the show now!! CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH IT!!! i really like the lyric of this song! anyhow, here it is!

    Falling Slowly
    Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova

    I don't know you
    But I want you
    All the more for that
    Words fall through me
    And always fool me
    And I can't react
    And games that never amount
    To more than they're meant
    Will play themselves out

Take this sinking boat and point it home
    We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
    You'll make it now

Falling slowly, eyes that know me
    And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
    And I'm painted black
    You have suffered enough
    And warred with yourself
    It's time that you won

Take this sinking boat and point it home
    We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you had a choice
    You've made it now
    Falling slowly sing your melody
    I'll sing along

Extinction is forever. Extinction undoes the human enterprise. Extinction makes pointless the activities of all of our ancestors back those hundreds of thousands or millions of years. Because surely if they struggled for anything, it was for the continuance of our species. And yet the paleontological record is absolutely clear. Most species become extinct. There's nothing that guarantees it won't happen to us. In the ordinary course of events, it might happen to us. Just wait long enough. A million years is quite young for a species. But we are a peculiar species. We have invented the means of our own self-destruction. And it can be argued that we show only modest disinclination to use it.

today's the first day of 2009. had a blast at chien's house last night! got pushed into the pool many (many) times. hmmm. had a bit too many drinks. but what's a party without alot of drinks! haha.

anyway, i think i would like to quit smoking. i enjoy smoking, i really do! i like the feeling of the smoke going in. lol. but i came to realized that i can't always do the things that i like you know? so for the sake of my health, and my family members who can't stand me smoking. i'm gonna try to quit this year! and it starts TODAY!

Its strange i don't really have much wish.

oh ya. I'm thinking of whether to take private A levels, so i can hopefully get into arts at NUS. but but, still in the process of consideration!

gotta go back to camp later on. oh fuck. and i really like this song! but i can't find the Frank Sinatra version.
